Gaztaña erreak or roasted chesnuts

Oh yes, is undeniable, autum has arrived! The first chesnut have fallen from the chesnut trees. Here in the Basque Country some people use to eat the chesnuts boiled, but I prefer roasted chesnuts.

These aren´t very large, but they had lot of flavor. Delicius accompanied by a botle of cider.
