artichokes and mushrooms, an unconventional combination

Yesterday when I went to the greengrocers, I bought artichokes and mushrooms. I really did not know which recipe I wanted to do , but the vegetables had so good looking that I would not hesitate to buy them. Once at home, this was the result: artichokes in sauce with mushrooms gratin.
First, fry a chopped onion with a little ham (better if it's iberico) .

Add the artichoke .
and a bit of vegetable broth, and a bit of white wine.

Let the sauce reduce. We have artichokes in sauce!

In a skillet fry the mushroom logs (chopped)and some bacon.

Add some flour and warm milk, and mix until get a béchamel sauce.

Fill the mushrooms with the béchamel.

Cover each mushrooms with masdam cheese, put some salt and ground black pepper.

Put the mushrooms at 200ºC preheat oven, and bake about 15 minutes. And the mushroom are ready!
